Community Service
Did you know that the by-laws of the Lexington Newcomers state that the Club will undertake at least one
charitable or philanthropic project each year.
In 2003 and again in 2004 we supported The Concord Prison Outreach's Gift Project.
In many years we have also supported with toiletries, cash, and food The Lexington Food Pantry.
(Toiletries are not covered by food stamps.)
We have also served at the soup kitchen called "Bread & Jams".
We look forward to meeting YOU!

Fall 2008
A note on our recent charitable donation
This spring Lexington Newcomers’ Club gave a donation of $150.00 to F.I.S.H. of Lexington.
F.I.S.H. is a local organization that provides rides to Lexington residents of any age in need of transportation to
medical appointments.
We received a very gracious thank you letter and a request for volunteers to help with the organization.
Volunteer workers can serve as drivers,
be part of a telephone service to help organize schedules,
or assist with mailings.
If you are interested in volunteering time to a worthwhile cause please call
David Horton at F.I.S.H. - 781-862-3293.
