Can this be our last newsletter of the
season already?!
Sadly so. June marks the end of our Club
year as we break for the summer.
We would like to thank you all for joining
the Club! We hope you've enjoyed our
many events and activities and have had a
chance to meet new friends. If you haven't
yet had an opportunity to join us, there is
still time - There is so much planned for
June!
Of particular interest is a fun evening of
dancing at Shake it for Shelter, an annual
Lexington fund-raiser supporting Parenting
Resource Associates. We hope to see you
there!
As Co-Presidents we would like to give a
heartfelt THANKS to our very talented and
hard-working Board members who have
helped make this year such a success!
[And WE (the Board) would like to THEM
(our fabulous Co-Presidents) for being
such great leaders, and for being all-round
lovely people. . . and of course for their
unending and dedicated hard work for the
Club.] With everyone's help we have
increased in record size and have had the
chance to organize such a variety of fun
and interesting events. Our healthy
membership numbers have allowed us to
make a donation to two worthy causes:
The Lexington Fund and the Lexington
Food Pantry.
While members may leave town during the
summer months, not everyone does - and
we strongly recommend our members stay
connected. If you have any interests or
activities that you would like to share or
plan, please email us at
events@lexington-newcomers.org. We will
send out FYI and member initiated events
periodically. . . and by the end of August,
our next newsletter will already have
arrived!
We would also like to extend a warm
welcome to our newest members Marie,
Lisa and David. Welcome!
