Dear Lovely Newcomers!
For those of you who were vacationing during school break last week, we hope you had a wonderful and restful break.
We are chock-full of activities this month due, in large measure, to several members who recently joined our board organizing new and creative events. For a complete list of who we are and what we do, see the yellow sidebar The LNC Board: Who We Are? later in this newsletter.
We are also thankful for new and continuing members opening their homes to host our various activities. Thank you all!
Please enjoy our March events. And as always, we welcome you to email us with questions and suggestions.

Bunco! (& Left-Right-Center)
WED March 15
Bring: $5 ante for Bunco; $3 for L-R-C (exact change appreciated!); and a beverage or snack to share.
RSVP: email email@example.com for location details.
About the Games:
Bunco is an entertaining, simple dice game, with no experience required. It’s played in multiple rounds with players alternating turns rolling the dice to match the target number. Whoever wins the most rounds is the overall winner. And because players rotate tables, it is a great way to meet and chat with different people. Left-Right-Center is an even simpler game, faster moving than Bunco, and is played at the end of the evening. Did we mention there’s no experience required?
Start your day with a smile. Chat with friends while enjoying coffee and a nibble.
TUES March 14 @ 10am-12pm
PLEASE NOTE: Hard stop at 12pm.
Host: email firstname.lastname@example.org for location.
NO rsvp: Just drop in!
THURS March 9 @ 7:30 pm

Underground Airlines by Ben Winters
It is the present-day, and the world is as we know it: smartphones, social networking and Happy Meals. Save for one thing: the Civil War never occurred. A gifted young black man calling himself Victor has struck a bargain with federal law enforcement, working as a bounty hunter for the US Marshall Service. He’s got plenty of work. In this version of America, slavery continues in four states called “the Hard Four.” On the trail of a runaway known as Jackdaw, Victor arrives in Indianapolis knowing that something isn’t right–with the case file, with his work, and with the country itself. .

Please join us for an invigorating exercise class combining Pilates and Yoga—PoYo! Trained in both disciplines, our instructor, Shelby, describes her class as follows:
PiYo blends the moves of Pilates, Yoga, and Functional Strength training. It then sets these moves to fun music and by speeding things up from a traditional Pilates/Yoga class, it gets the muscles warmer faster and also adds the Cardio element. PiYo is the ultimate “has it all” workout.
And naturally, stay after class to socialize with old friends and meet new ones!
Limit 12 guests, so please respond early to reserve a spot. Please bring a yoga mat and towel.
RSVP: email@example.com to reserve your spot and for location details.
